Cloud Engineering Support Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leadership and team collaboration: Recruit, guide, coach, and mentor developers, ensuring that issues and projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the company’s quality standards.

• Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with engineering leadership to understand and document issues and priorities, aligning development and support efforts with engineering and business goals, including managing expectations.

• Team management: Proficient in Jira for issue tracking, workflow management, and reporting. Ensure the team is aligned and utilizing Jira to its maximum potential.

• Project and issue oversight: Manage task boards, backlog organization, and workload planning. Track progress and resolve any obstacles or bottlenecks to keep support on schedule.

• Commitment to continuous improvement: Champion and implement best practices, efficiency enhancements, and new technologies.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Facilitate smooth communication across the organization to promote strong inter-team collaboration and effectiveness.

• Goal establishment and accountability: Define direct-report objectives linked to company OKRs, promote accountability, and ensure team KPIs and commitments are fulfilled, with an emphasis on high employee satisfaction (Employee NPS).

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a lead or management role.

• 4+ years of experience developing React web applications.

• 4+ years of experience working with databases (MySQL, SQL Server).

• 4+ years of coding experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience with serverless architecture using AWS (API Gateway, Lambda).

• Knowledge of browser compatibility and mobile-friendly standards.

• Familiarity with issue tracking and source control systems such as Jira and Bitbucket.

• Experience in optimization techniques.

• Proficiency in Python, UX design, and AWS tools is a valuable plus.
