Cloud Engineer – Product Metrics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Actively contribute to shaping the roadmap for the Product Metrics team.

• Collaborate closely with team members to deliver new features and continuously enhance them.

• Design, construct, manage, and maintain critical business systems at a petabyte scale.

• Oversee the performance, reliability, availability, and cost-effectiveness of Product Metrics systems.

• Mentor and assist fellow team members, engage in design discussions, and work collaboratively with the team.

• Participate in the on-call rotation and take ownership of the services you manage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in software development within the industry, focusing on scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.

• At least 2 years of experience in software application development utilizing Golang.

• Familiarity with at least one major Cloud Service Provider, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proven experience in efficiently storing, shipping, and retrieving large data volumes using technologies like ClickHouse.

• Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Temporal, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

• Background in writing Kubernetes operators or controllers.
