This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Create and uphold Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions and associated DevSecOps tools.
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and administration of AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
• Automate operational processes, system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Support platform operations, including troubleshooting, incident response, and performance enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and cybersecurity experts to create secure and scalable solutions.
• Oversee platform health, availability, and resource utilization across cloud environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or platform operations, preferably in a federal context.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working within AWS environments.
• Proficient with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation tools.
• Experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines and implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full-time, remote position.
• May require occasional travel to client meetings, planning sessions, or program events as necessary.
• Potential for after-hours work for mission-critical actions and to fulfill project requirements.
