Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the migration of existing products to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Deploy and oversee GCP applications utilizing command-line tools.

• Validate software deployments and releases on GCP.

• Write and execute queries to implement configuration modifications for GCP applications.

• Utilize standard tools such as Jenkins and Git to prepare software for deployment.

• Employ Unix commands to troubleshoot system and network functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with GCP networking and application models.

• Experience with containerized applications.

• Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Familiarity with Docker.

• Knowledge of Terraform.

• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C++, NodeJS, and Bash.

• Experience with the GNU Toolchain for building C++ code.

• Understanding of microservice-based architectures on Linux/Unix platforms.

• Possession of Google Cloud Certifications, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
