Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee multi-cloud infrastructures utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Architect and deploy cloud solutions that are highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable

• Transition on-premises applications and services to cloud-based environments

• Enhance cloud resource utilization and establish auto-scaling policies

• Create and maintain infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform

• Deploy and manage Apache Kafka clusters for real-time data streaming

• Develop and implement cloud networking architectures, including virtual private clouds (VPCs) and subnets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles

• Practical experience managing production workloads across various cloud platforms

• Relevant cloud and technology certifications are highly sought after

• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes, including cluster architecture, networking, storage, and security

• Advanced skills in Terraform for provisioning multi-cloud infrastructure

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
