Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• As a result of growth within UK programmes, we will require skilled Cloud Engineers throughout 2026.

• Responsible for transforming, supporting, and maintaining a critical national infrastructure system on public cloud while adhering to engineering best practices.

• Collaborate closely with team members and the wider programme to migrate legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud.

• Be comfortable in supporting other team members as needed and engaging closely with developers and testers.

• Highly technical role requiring proven experience in transitioning legacy platforms to AWS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing solutions utilizing: AWS with Linux technologies.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.

• Demonstrated experience working in a DevOps environment.

• Experience in applying security measures to all workloads.

• Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure pipelines.

• Proven experience in automating deployment and configuration pipelines of COTS software and promoting through various environments.

• Experience in Agile teams with an understanding of Agile methodologies (using Scrum or Kanban).

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Candidates must be UK Nationals.

• Must be eligible to obtain SC level clearance.
