Cloud & Digital Platform DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Create and sustain multi-account AWS environments with appropriate governance.

• Architect infrastructure for device connectivity platforms, web and mobile applications, as well as data platforms.

• Establish and implement comprehensive CI/CD pipelines for backend services, frontend applications, and infrastructure deployments.

• Apply progressive delivery strategies and integrate pipelines with a variety of CI/CD tools.

• Incorporate security within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), enforce IAM best practices, and ensure compliance with FDA Cybersecurity Guidance, HIPAA, ISO 27001 / HITRUST.

• Develop and maintain an observability stack, define Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and alerting strategies.

• Create reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform or CloudFormation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and CI/CD pipeline design and automation.

• Experience in regulated environments, with a preference for medical device or healthcare sectors.

• Strong knowledge of IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 standards.

• Extensive experience with AWS services.

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.

• Experience in implementing secure SDLC pipelines and IAM least privilege models.

• Familiarity with threat modeling and vulnerability management tools.

• Proficient in monitoring and logging tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems reliability, incident response, and root cause analysis.

• Experience utilizing AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex.
