This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications and workloads.
• Develop and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing AWS CloudFormation and related automation technologies.
• Apply DevSecOps methodologies across cloud environments, embedding security throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Configure and manage AWS services such as IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, and other cloud-native technologies.
• Deploy and oversee containerized workloads using Docker and associated technologies.
• Establish cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with security and monitoring platforms, including Splunk, Nessus, and Tenable.
• Support federal cybersecurity compliance standards, including FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, Authority to Operate (ATO), and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon).
• Partner with cloud architects, cybersecurity teams, developers, and federal stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant cloud solutions.
• Diagnose complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, security, and deployment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and security-related documentation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, infrastructure engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Robust hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and other cloud-native technologies.
• Experience in implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Proficient with security and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and Tenable.
• Understanding of federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, ATO, and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon).
• Solid knowledge of cloud security principles, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and security automation.
• Certification Requirement: Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications: CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CAP – Certified Authorization Professional, CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor, CRISC – Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, CISM – Certified Information Security Manager, CGEIT – Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT.
