This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Creating, constructing, and implementing contemporary Data & AI solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborating closely with clients and internal delivery teams to design scalable, production-ready data platforms that facilitate analytics, reporting, operational intelligence, and AI workloads.
• Engaging throughout the entire project lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, optimization, and client collaboration.
• Working in partnership with solution architects, project teams, and customer stakeholders to adopt modern lakehouse and data engineering patterns leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Databricks technologies.
• Providing support across a diverse range of customer environments in both commercial and public sector organizations.
• 3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft data platform solutions.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar Azure data services.
• Strong skills in PySpark, SQL, Python, and contemporary ETL/ELT development patterns are essential.
• Experience with lakehouse architectures, medallion data models, and enterprise data engineering methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment automation via Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, and related offerings.
• Experience in troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting production data workloads.
• Proficiency in T-SQL development, including stored procedures, views, and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for both internal and external client interactions.
• Capability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions within project deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for modern AI productivity and agent technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Previous experience is advantageous, but a willingness to learn and engage with these technologies is expected.
• Familiarity with Data Vault or dimensional modeling methodologies is preferred.
• Microsoft Cloud certifications (Fabric, Azure Data Engineer, or other relevant certifications).
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks, analytics engineering, or modern AI workloads.
