Cloud Data Architect – Microsoft Fabric

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage in diverse client projects and take charge of implementing contemporary data-engineering architectures with an emphasis on Microsoft Fabric.

• Assist clients from the analysis of requirements through to architectural decisions, implementation, and the successful transition into operational production.

• In the process, cultivate deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and related cloud & AI technologies, or enhance existing knowledge towards achieving true excellence.

• Design and implement sophisticated data platforms utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Develop solutions that span the entire data value chain — from the cloud platform through to integration, transformation processes, and analytics, including AI applications.

• Collaborate closely with clients in workshops, architecture sessions, and strategic roadmaps, confidently guiding them through transformation phases.

• Deliver projects employing modern Data & AI technologies — such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure services, and contemporary ML frameworks.

• Work across a variety of industries and company sizes throughout the DACH region, gaining a broad and valuable range of experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a passion for modern data-engineering architectures and the latest advancements in Data & AI.

• Have initial or extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure Synapse, Spark) — with a desire to specialize in Fabric.

• Present yourself confidently and with a customer-focused approach — both in workshops and during technical projects.

• Be proficient in Python; familiarity with additional programming languages is advantageous.

• Ideally, have experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a willingness to travel.

• Speak German and English at a minimum of the C1 level.
