Cloud Data Architect – DBT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold data architecture standards, including ingestion, transformation, storage, consumption, and governance frameworks.

• Exercise strong, independent judgment during design evaluations and architectural choices throughout the client's data ecosystem.

• Proactively manage technical debt while maintaining rigorous standards for data testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Serve as a reliable technical liaison: Convert business requirements into technical solutions and articulate technical decisions in a manner suitable for executive audiences.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance our service offerings and transform them into technical-commercial proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Architect, with practical expertise in leading technical teams within production settings.

• Mastery of dbt, Airflow (MWAA), Redshift, S3, and advanced SQL.

• Background in navigating highly complex enterprise or corporate environments.

• Capability to design architectures and propose original solutions, rather than merely implementing existing plans.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels of the organization, from engineers to executives.
