This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Consulting with clients—both existing and prospective—on solutions. Advising on the selection of technical solutions that are appropriate for the client's business challenges. Striving to choose cost-effective solutions that effectively address the client's issues.
• Participating in early-stage client meetings—pitching our experience, process, and technology approach, as well as inquiring, gathering, and detailing requirements.
• Contributing substantively to proposals—designing the suggested architecture, calculating Total Cost of Ownership/Return on Investment/cloud costs using cloud provider calculators.
• Estimating project costs and evaluating the involvement of Data Solutions representatives in the project.
• Building persuasive arguments to convince clients of our solutions, highlighting advantages over alternative approaches.
• Participating in meetings to present offers, addressing client questions, and showcasing solutions that our segment supports.
• Engaging in research and development activities to analyze the functionality and applicability of new technologies and tools in clients' business solutions.
• Maintaining regular contact with decision-makers in the Data domain on the client’s side (VP, IT Director).
• Creating Proof of Concepts (PoC) in the Data area to demonstrate results from ongoing R&D efforts.
• Designing and developing comprehensive data processing platforms, considering all components and their connections to other solutions (e.g., BI and ML) within the cloud ecosystem.
• Optimizing overall solutions/systems for data storage and analysis.
• Maintaining relationships with the technical team on the client’s side.
• Coordinating the work of engineers involved in creating the solution.
• Overseeing the entire project from start to finish.
• Contributing to the growth of the Data Solutions business line (recruiting employees, clients, training, participating in conferences, mentoring, etc.).
• You have **at least 5 years of experience working with data in AWS cloud** (validated by commercially implemented projects) and experience in a **Lead Developer/Architect or similar role**.
• You possess knowledge of Data services in AWS.
• You are very familiar with **Databricks**, with a particular focus on the latest functionalities of this platform (e.g., Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog).
• You know tools, mechanisms, and processes, such as **CI/CD, IaaC/Terraform, Git**.
• You can create and modify data models and select the appropriate model for the problem being solved (**DWH, Data Marts, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Lakehouse**).
• **Lambda and Kappa architectures** are well within your understanding.
• You know how to build solutions for data analysis in "near to real time".
• Monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in the cloud are not challenges for you, and you know how to plan infrastructure and calculate its cost.
• You have knowledge about migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud and understand basic migration types.
• You know how to implement mechanisms related to the secure storage and processing of data in the cloud.
• You have participated in pre-sales meetings.
• You exhibit strategic and analytical thinking, good self-organization skills, independence, adaptability, communication skills, and proactivity.
• You possess the ability to mentor and train less experienced individuals and lead initiatives to support their development.
• Delivering presentations and talks at industry events is not a source of anxiety for you.
• You are open to business travel.
• You are proficient in **English at an advanced level, minimum C1**.
