This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of and manage Microsoft licensing programs (CSP, MCA, EA, NCE, SPLA as applicable)
• Analyze and implement Microsoft licensing regulations, terms, and program modifications
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and prepare for audits or true-ups
• Supervise the accuracy of Microsoft cloud billing, along with reconciliation and reporting
• Manage the monthly billing cycles for CSP/NCE, including proration, credits, and adjustments
• Reconcile Microsoft invoices with reseller invoices and internal usage reports
• Monitor renewals, commitments, and term expirations to minimize financial risks
• Spot opportunities to enhance licensing efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures
• Track license usage and recommend adjustments for optimal resource allocation
• Collaborate with IT teams regarding Azure, Microsoft 365, AVD/VDI, and security licensing
• Work closely with Finance and Accounting on accruals, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Keep precise records of license inventories and entitlement documentation
• Generate regular reports on license usage, expenditures, and compliance status
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft licensing and cloud billing frameworks
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and CSP/NCE billing models
• Capability to interpret intricate contracts, agreements, and licensing conditions
• Exceptional attention to detail with robust analytical and reconciliation abilities
