Cloud Architect – Enterprise AI, Modernization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Define and uphold enterprise cloud architecture within Azure environments, setting standards for networking, security, IAM, and resource organization.

• Assess and direct platform strategy across Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and associated tools.

• Establish architectural guidelines for AI-enabled applications, ensuring that systems are API-driven, modular, and scalable.

• Recognize architectural limitations that hinder autonomous/agent workflows and develop reference patterns for transitioning AI to production.

• Steer the advancement of CI/CD pipelines, including the potential migration to GitHub Enterprise, ensuring that deployment strategies are scalable, secure, and repeatable.

• Set application architecture standards (front-end, APIs, services) and apply lightweight governance for AI-generated code prior to production.

• Measure and manage technical debt across systems, minimizing key-person dependencies in infrastructure design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture, with a minimum of 3 years in architectural design or definition roles (not limited to implementation).

• Advanced knowledge of **Azure**: networking, IAM, security, resource organization, and core services.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms: **Snowflake** and/or **Databricks**.

• Proficiency in CI/CD strategies and tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise).

• Experience in designing **API-driven** systems and architectures focused on AI or autonomous agent integration.

• Knowledge of IaC and automation tools: Terraform, Bicep, Azure ARM, or similar.

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience in technical governance: managing technical debt, setting standards, and developing reference patterns.

• Upper-intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (technical reading and communication within teams).
