Cloud Architect, Data Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create enterprise cloud, data, and platform architectures that support analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Develop standards for architecture, technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and strategies for implementation.

• Design scalable cloud-native solutions that facilitate data integration, interoperability, governance, and modernization of enterprises.

• Collaborate with engineering, product management, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver comprehensive enterprise solutions.

• Establish architecture patterns that promote security, identity management, observability, and operational excellence.

• Engage in architecture reviews, technical governance, and the decision-making process for design.

• Assess emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions that align with customer requirements.

• Assist in cloud modernization, migration, performance optimization, and operational governance initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Cloud Architecture, Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud Engineering, or a similar discipline.

• Proven experience in designing scalable cloud-based solutions for enterprise applications or data platforms.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and contemporary application architectures.

• Experience in architecture reviews, technical governance, or solution design activities.

• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in technical documentation.

• Experience with one or more of the specified cloud, data, architecture, security, governance, observability, or collaboration technologies is highly preferred.

• An active Public Trust or Security Clearance, or the capability to obtain one.
