This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Spearhead cloud modernization and migration initiatives across enterprise settings.
• Establish cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams to provide secure cloud solutions.
• Ensure adherence to federal security and regulatory standards.
• Assist with IAM, encryption, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations.
• Evaluate technical risks, architectural trade-offs, resiliency, and performance enhancement.
• Convert mission and business requirements into scalable cloud architectures.
• Candidates must be US Citizens and capable of obtaining Public Trust clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, or cloud architecture positions.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing cloud solutions in AWS, with a preference for EKS, EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Familiarity with Azure, especially in disaster recovery and resiliency planning.
• Significant experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible.
• Strong comprehension of cloud networking, compute, storage, IAM, security groups, monitoring, and infrastructure design.
• Experience in cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, logging, vulnerability management, and secure access controls.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, CIS benchmarks, or comparable regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar technologies.
• Experience in supporting DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD integrations.
• Excellent documentation, architecture review, and stakeholder communication skills.
• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Architect, or similar certifications are desirable.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles is advantageous.
• Experience working with federal government agencies is a plus.
