This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Designing and implementing enterprise-level AI/ML and Data Science platforms within intricate cloud environments.

• Creating serverless and containerized execution frameworks for machine learning and data processing tasks.

• Developing secure and scalable methodologies for cloud Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment strategies.

• Establishing API standards, observability frameworks, and architectural guidelines.

• Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines with a strong emphasis on automation.

• Leading and guiding cross-functional engineering and data teams.

• Converting business needs into practical architectural solutions.

• Ensuring technical alignment with product, business, and customer objectives.

• Choosing technology solutions that satisfy non-functional requirements while minimizing costs.

• Consistently exploring emerging technologies and best practices, applying them when advantageous.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript (Java is a significant advantage).

• Practical experience in delivering secure and scalable cloud solutions within enterprise settings.

• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform; CloudFormation is also beneficial.

• Comprehensive understanding of architectural design patterns and their relevance to AI systems.

• Extensive expertise in one or more of the following: GCP, AWS, Azure.

• Commitment to high-quality engineering practices: automation, testing, IaC, and pipeline maturity.

• Exceptional communication and documentation capabilities - in written, verbal, and diagrammatic forms.

• Hands-on experience with serverless and containerized application deployments.

• Proven track record of designing and managing robust CI/CD workflows.

• IF YOU KNOW THIS EVEN BETTER: Experience with event-driven architecture.

• Advanced skills in Terraform.

• Strong background in Azure.

• Knowledge of data engineering platforms.

• Familiarity with data science tools and their lifecycle.

• Basic knowledge of Rust.
