Cloud Analyst (Mid/Senior)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee, manage, and enhance cloud environments utilizing AWS;

• Administer and support Kubernetes clusters via Amazon EKS;

• Develop and uphold infrastructure as code (IaC);

• Engage in the management of production, staging, and development environments;

• Track availability, performance, costs, and security of cloud infrastructures;

• Assist development teams in the deployment and maintenance of containerized applications;

• Streamline provisioning, deployment, and infrastructure management processes through automation;

• Take part in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and the execution of continuous improvements;

• Guarantee the application of security best practices, governance, and high availability on the cloud platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS);

• Essential proficiency in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS);

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker containers;

• Understanding of AWS networking components (VPC, Security Groups, Load Balancer, Route 53, and IAM);

• Experience with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, and IAM;

• Proficient in infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation;

• Background in CI/CD pipelines;

• Competence in Linux and scripting (Shell Script or Python);

• Experience in monitoring and observability of cloud environments;

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines;

• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer);

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins;

• Knowledge of Helm and ArgoCD;

• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic;

• Understanding of FinOps and cost optimization strategies on AWS;

• Proficient in DevOps and GitOps methodologies.
