This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and intermediary between delivery teams and clients to address AI sovereignty, data sovereignty, and compliance needs during the design and deployment of AI solutions.
• Evaluate customer environments (cloud/hybrid/on-prem) and establish sovereignty requirements for AI workloads, including data residency, access controls, encryption, key management, segregation, logging, and auditability.
• Create and execute AI governance frameworks, covering model lifecycle governance, risk classification, documentation, approval workflows, accountability, and audit preparedness.
• Assist clients in developing compliant AI architectures that are secure-by-design and privacy-by-design, which encompass data pipelines, model hosting strategies, and AI operational models (MLOps/LLMOps).
• Convert regulatory requirements into actionable controls that align with frameworks such as the EU AI Act.
• Define and offer guidance on the implementation of control sets for AI systems, including monitoring, incident response for AI, model change management, drift detection, explainability/traceability, data lineage, and retention policies.
• Create and deliver customer-specific concepts, roadmaps, and target operating models (people/process/technology) to facilitate sovereign AI adoption.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Have 3–6 years of experience in consulting, architecture, or security & compliance roles with direct customer engagement.
• Demonstrated hands-on implementation experience in delivering AI/data platforms or governance/security controls in real-world settings.
• AI Sovereignty & Compliance Knowledge: Strong comprehension of data sovereignty principles, including residency, access governance, encryption, KMS/HSM, audit logging, and third-country transfer risks.
• Familiarity with the EU regulatory landscape, including GDPR, NIS2, DORA; readiness for the EU AI Act is a significant advantage.
• Technical & Platform Skills: In-depth understanding of cloud and hybrid architectures for AI workloads (Azure/AWS/GCP or sovereign/private cloud alternatives).
• Practical experience with data governance concepts such as data classification, lineage, retention, and DLP, along with AI operationalization (MLOps/LLMOps).
• Communication & Consulting Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to lead workshops, produce governance documentation, and present to both technical and executive audiences.
