Closing Specialist II – Credit Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage all facets of both standard and occasionally complex loan closing transactions

• Examine documents and workflows to ensure compliance with approval specifications

• Independently oversee a portfolio of loan closings

• Review and negotiate legal documents along with commitment letters

• Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel, title agents, and insurance providers

• Perform detailed assessments of insurance, lien, and title documentation

• Confirm that closing conditions are fulfilled, documents are signed accurately, and loans are funded and recorded

• Act as a liaison for Sales, Credit, Legal, Title, and Escrow stakeholders

• Provide ongoing updates and address any closing issues

• Maintain precise digital closing files in systems like nCino

• Review uploads and data entries for accuracy and compliance

• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as necessary

• Complete mandatory compliance training and uphold compliance with relevant laws and regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC), or a foreign equivalent

• Over 4 years of experience in commercial lending closing, ideally with complex transactions

• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation, credit terms, legal coordination, and closing workflows

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with both internal and external partners

• Capability to lead closings and resolve issues independently

• Proficient in nCino, LaserPro, and the Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple deal pipelines

• No unusual physical exertion is required
