Clojure Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Creation of distributed applications and high-performance microservices

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Clojure and functional programming principles

• Solid background in the JVM ecosystem

• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems

• Understanding of event-driven architecture

• Experience with Apache Kafka or comparable technologies

• Development and integration of REST APIs

• Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git

• Knowledge of observability practices (logging, metrics, and tracing)

• Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar

• Experience with NoSQL and/or immutable databases (such as Datomic, DynamoDB, etc.)

• Understanding of TDD/BDD, code reviews, and clean architecture principles

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools in development, like Claude Code or similar
