This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist organizations nationwide in showcasing the effects of Community Health Worker (CHW) programs, enhancing the evidence for sustainable funding, and converting rigorous research into actionable improvements for patients facing complex medical and social challenges.

• In the role of Evaluation Consultant, collaborate with health systems and community-based organizations across the country to design, execute, and analyze comprehensive evaluations of CHW programs that utilize the evidence-based IMPaCT model.

• Provide guidance to partner organizations regarding their evaluation strategies: co-develop evaluation questions, choose suitable study designs (such as retrospective analyses, RCTs, quasi-experimental methods, and mixed methods), and suggest practical trade-offs to align with organizational capacities.

• Assist in the creation of analytic plans: aid organizations in establishing statistical methodologies (e.g., multivariable regression, propensity score methods, difference-in-differences) and analytic strategies for assessing their CHW programs.

• Facilitate data collection and measurement: assist in defining outcomes and covariates, developing surveys and data collection tools, and advising on the extraction of EHR and administrative data.

• Enhance partner capacity: provide training for staff on evaluation fundamentals, data interpretation, and continuous quality improvement.

• Aid in dissemination efforts: assist in drafting evaluation sections for grants, reports, blogs, and presentations intended for stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical fellowship trainee or a recent graduate of a fellowship program with formal training in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.

• Clinical experience in caring for patients with intricate medical and social needs.

• Proven technical proficiency in evaluation methods, including multivariable regression, randomized controlled trials, propensity score methods, difference-in-differences, and similar techniques.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a history of translating technical findings for varied audiences (e.g., executives, program managers, and frontline staff).

• A collaborative approach and experience engaging with diverse stakeholders across sectors (including health systems, payers, community-based organizations, and/or public health initiatives).

• Capability to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality outputs punctually.
