Clinical Trials Billing and Collections Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a designated portfolio of aged clinical trial accounts receivable (A/R), focusing on older accounts and adherence to payment terms; proactively recognize overdue invoices and initiate follow-up and escalation with sponsors/CROs.

• Generate and analyze A/R aging reports to aid in prioritization, target outreach, and provide updates to leadership.

• Examine unapplied or unidentified sponsor payments by gathering remittance information, confirming their allocation to Clinical Trial Finance, and linking them to the appropriate study or invoice activities.

• Assemble regular A/R and cash application metrics for both operational and financial reporting; identify patterns and suggest process enhancements to mitigate future aged A/R and unapplied cash accumulation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; 3 additional years of experience may substitute for the required educational background.

• 3+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years of related experience with a position-related postgraduate degree.
