This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Serve as a clinical strategist within our Advanced Wound Care Medical and Clinical Affairs team.
• Take a leading role in the design of clinical studies, which includes managing regulatory approvals, developing statistical analysis plans, and overseeing budgets.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from Global Medical Education, Key Opinion Leader Management, as well as Business Development and Marketing teams.
• Work in partnership with clinical operations colleagues to convert business strategies into actionable clinical study protocols and plans for retrospective data generation.
• Evaluate data generated from clinical studies and other evidence generation activities.
• Take an active role in the creation of publications and in communicating evidence, working closely with the medical writing team.
• Serve as an educator and a role model for colleagues outside of medical affairs.
• Support all general medical affairs initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the product line.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine, Life Sciences, Allied Health, Pharmacy, or Nursing.
• An advanced degree (MD, PhD, MSN, DNP) is preferred.
• A clinical background (MD, RN, DPM, DNP, or similar) is required.
• Specialized knowledge in wound care is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of increasing responsibility.
• A solid understanding of clinical research, including literature reviews, protocol development, general study execution, and statistical analysis.
• Experience in clinical study design within an industry or academic environment.
• Knowledge of the medical device industry, including product development, pre-clinical, clinical, quality, marketing, and regulatory aspects.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical studies in the US and EU is highly desirable.
• Proficient computer skills, with a high level of expertise in Microsoft Office.
