This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver healthcare regulatory expertise directly to the client and the Yellow Brick project team.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and healthcare-specific standards.
• Act as an advisor, offering expert guidance on healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices to enhance compliance, patient safety, quality of care, and efficiency.
• Successfully lead complex, high-profile, and/or high-risk regulatory projects related to healthcare facilities.
• Investigate regulatory requirements and provide compliance recommendations.
• Create and implement compliance plans, licensing strategies, regulatory frameworks, and training programs for healthcare personnel.
• Independently oversee the planning and execution of various healthcare facility transitions and activation regulatory projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules associated with the project.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent expertise and experience in the industry is required.
• Extensive years of experience in the industry are necessary.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies and industry standards such as AIA, ACHE, ASHE, TJC, CDPH, HCAi, CMS, AAMI, and AAAHC is required.
• Experience with large-scale projects within the healthcare sector is preferred.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with Visio and Access.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work effectively in leadership roles, as a team player, and independently.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
• Ability to remain stationary for up to 80% of the workday and be mobile for up to 90% of the workday during onsite mock surveys.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for full-time staff.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours occasionally and respond to urgent regulatory inquiries/issues.
