This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Deliver clinical case coverage as designated.
• Educate surgical teams to enhance patient outcomes and provide verbal support during training sessions.
• Stay updated on current perioperative surgical technology practices alongside hospital policies and procedures.
• Cultivate technical expertise to act as an educational resource.
• Maintain and prepare surgical instruments and kits, including conducting quality-control audits.
• Diagnose equipment issues following standard operating procedures.
• Offer intra-operative clinical product assistance.
• Verify received and returned inventory against shipping documentation.
• Reconcile inventory usage and address any inventory discrepancies.
• Assist in procedural training for physicians and medical personnel.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure favorable clinical outcomes.
• Manage accounts with the Territory Sales Manager, which includes account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and monitoring clinical outcomes.
• Provide educational support for APPs, office personnel, and hospital staff.
• Facilitate and enhance residency education initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations regarding healthcare-professional interactions.
• Work alongside Clinical Specialist teams for case presentations and peer knowledge exchange.
• Report to the Regional Clinical Manager.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Clinical experience as a Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, or Laser Tech.
• Clinical Specialist II: 1–3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Previous clinical specialist role with a medical device company or experience with Mobile Litho Provider Companies.
• Capability to provide intraoperative procedural guidance.
• Willingness to travel beyond the designated territory.
• Senior Clinical Specialist: Over 3 years of full-time experience as a medical device clinical specialist or comparable experience with a focus on case coverage and patient outcomes.
• Senior Clinical Specialist: Experience in intraoperative coaching.
• Senior Clinical Specialist: Proficient in staff and support training.
• Senior Clinical Specialist: Familiarity with the medical device industry.
• Senior Clinical Specialist: Knowledge of sales processes and training methodologies.
• Experience with surgical techniques and sterile procedures in an operating room environment.
• Fluoroscopy experience is an advantage.
• Strong customer relationships and procedural skills development are highly preferred.
• Degree or certification in a medical-related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel by car up to 90%.
• Must possess a valid US driver's license.
• Compliance with applicable county, state, and federal vaccination regulations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
