Clinical Services Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Schedule imaging examinations and carry out pre-registration tasks via phone in a professional and courteous manner.

• Ensure all necessary supporting documentation is acquired before appointments, including orders, lab results, prior imaging, chart notes, authorizations, and arrangements for interpreters.

• Review scheduled examinations and collaborate with technologists to confirm readiness.

• Manage digital medical records and appointment workflows utilizing RIS, PACS, EMR, and related systems.

• Modify schedules and oversee waitlists to enhance operational efficiency.

• Uphold HIPAA compliance and assist with document handling procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office setting is required.

• Completion of a medical terminology course or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Proficient knowledge of radiology scheduling, procedures, and insurance requirements is essential.

• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is required.

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities are a must.

• Experience with electronic health systems and scheduling software is preferred.
