This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Clinical QA Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the evaluation of Physician reports and related medical records to guarantee that the reports are thorough, precise, and aligned with medical evidence.
• Supervision of QA staff
• - Ensure that the appropriate QA personnel are designated to each file to allocate file handling responsibilities among the team.
• - Oversee the assigned staff and manage the File Review Board to ensure each file is processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• - Provide managers with details from board reviews to enhance staff efficiency and productivity.
• - Aid in identifying and rectifying staff performance issues, including promotions, disciplinary actions, coaching, and terminations.
• - Assist in recruiting qualified candidates for open QA positions.
• Ensure that all QA staff comply with and fulfill their specific job responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
• - Following up with Physicians regarding outstanding reports
• - Reviewing submitted reports for accuracy
• - Returning completed reports to all relevant parties
• - Adhering to all client-specific instructions
• - Actively engaging in issue resolution by collaborating with necessary QA personnel, physicians, account managers, and/or other related parties.
• - Ensuring referrals meet the client-directed Turn Around Time (TAT).
• - Serving as the liaison between the reviewer, team member, and client regarding the process or status of the file.
• - Performing other duties and special projects as assigned based on business requirements.
• EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• **RN licensure is required**
• JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
• Medical peer review or knowledge of the healthcare industry is required.
• Business experience within a healthcare and/or insurance environment is preferred.
• JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
• Possess exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines. Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time effectively, and meet specific deadlines. Proficiency in computer skills and typing is essential.
