This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Provide scientific, administrative, and operational assistance to the Associate Director and/or Director in overseeing one or more SCRI Research Programs.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships throughout the organization relevant to the position.
• Facilitate meetings related to disease programs with guidance from the Associate Director, as appropriate.
• Work in partnership with the clinical program associate on updates for one-page study summaries; ensure the document's accuracy is reviewed.
• Aid in executive committee meetings by distributing agenda and meeting summary emails.
• Keep records and document decisions made during Leads Meetings (covering disease, sponsor, and site levels).
• Offer scientific support for one or more SCRI Research Program(s).
• PhD is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a scientific role within clinical research.
• Required experience in oncology and clinical research (phases I – IV).
• Capability to gather scientific literature to bolster research initiatives.
• Commitment to developing disease-specific and drug development knowledge necessary to support an SCRI Research Program.
• Proficiency in working within cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Exceptional time management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to adjust priorities as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Robust ability to thrive in a dynamic setting and adapt to the evolving requirements of the program.
