This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide guidance to physicians and staff during TULSA procedures at hospitals and imaging centers within their region, utilizing best practices from expert sources and the latest clinical research.
• Address unique and unprecedented challenges in the field, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of the technology and its application in urology, along with the humility and confidence to collaborate effectively under pressure.
• Assist physicians with patient selection and pre-treatment planning for TULSA-PRO.
• Conduct thorough post-treatment case evaluations, including treatment workflow analysis and patient outcome assessments for the supported sites, identifying bottlenecks and improvement areas to coach physicians and their teams towards enhanced procedure efficiency and optimal patient outcomes across various prostate disease states.
• Collaborate with our engineering teams to provide insights and conduct field testing of new hardware and software features.
• Work alongside our sales and marketing teams to educate potential new clients, contribute to educational events for patients and physicians, recommend solutions to facilitate the initiation of new sites, and identify opportunities to assist existing customers in offering TULSA to more patients.
• Act as the customer advocate by identifying and prioritizing the most significant areas for technological enhancement through building strong relationships with physicians utilizing TULSA-PRO and leveraging personal experience in related fields.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in physics/engineering, experience with interventional procedures, or an advanced credential (RRA) is advantageous.
• Certification and experience as an MRI technologist.
• Proficient experience and knowledge in MRI, ideally including hands-on scanning within a clinical setting (such as working as an MRI technologist).
• Technical experience with medical devices in clinical, research, or industry contexts, ideally involving in-bore interventions or therapeutic ultrasound.
• Awareness of clinical, scientific, and technical advancements in the realm of MR-guided therapeutic procedures.
• Exceptional teaching and communication skills for conveying complex technical and medical information in oral, written, and visual formats.
• A collaborative team member with a strong work ethic, self-motivated and focused on organizing and prioritizing tasks, and builds credibility by adhering to the highest standards of honesty and personal integrity.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders.
• Must possess a valid passport and be open to traveling 100% of the time, including nights and weekends, often with short notice.
