Clinical Pharmacy Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist pharmacists by effectively coordinating patient care with doctors, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Provide support to call center personnel and conduct outbound calls to patients and various clinics.

• Acquire knowledge and apply current guidelines within a collaborative practice framework.

• Comprehend the decision-making processes of pharmacists in a collaborative practice environment.

• Gain insights into utilizing data analysis for assessing the effectiveness of clinical interventions.

• Develop an understanding of healthcare software development methodologies.

• Manage projects independently under the supervision of pharmacists.

• Aid in the daily functions of the clinical pharmacy team.

• Complete assigned research-based projects.

• Identify and articulate areas for improvement in a clear and effective manner.

• Comply with all regulations concerning the management and utilization of patient health information.
