Clinical Omnipod Discover Specialist – Northeast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Promote the diabetes data management platform by providing customized education and communication to healthcare providers.

• Oversee the onboarding process for clinics and proactively meet customer requirements.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and resolve inquiries from providers regarding platform usage and reporting.

• Demonstrate the platform’s value proposition while offering technical and educational support.

• Act as the subject matter expert for the diabetes data management platform.

• Inform healthcare providers and internal stakeholders about the platform’s value, features, initiatives, and enhancements.

• Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions with minimal disruption to clinic workflows.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to fulfill organizational objectives.

• Gather and communicate customer feedback regarding innovation, functionality, and product improvements.

• Assist with clinical inquiries and provide troubleshooting support.

• Travel approximately 75% within the designated region, including overnight stays.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with diabetes data management platforms and/or sales experience in medical devices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to influence and align internal stakeholders effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and achieve regional goals in a fast-paced setting.

• Capability to simplify complex technical concepts and clinical workflows into clear, actionable steps.

• Strong collaborative skills with a focus on execution and results.

• Proficiency in understanding, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions for technology-related issues.

• Familiarity with healthcare technology and clinical workflow systems, including enterprise data platforms and personal medical devices like insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.

• Analytical skills to interpret data, extract insights, and leverage learnings to guide decisions and strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 3+ years of relevant clinical experience.

• 2+ years of specialization in diabetes management.

• Professional, up-to-date credentials and/or certifications such as CDCES, RD, RN, PharmD, or other clinical credentials and/or certifications.

• State licensure as required by state regulations.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Must live within the geographic area of the assigned region.

• Must be in reasonable commuting distance to a major airport/airline hub.

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 30 lbs. of professional materials.
