Clinical Nurse, RN/LPN – School Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ensure safe nursing care is provided during the transportation of students

• Deliver care in line with personalized care plans and physician directives

• Administer medications and treatments within the designated scope of practice

• Execute clinical procedures such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, enteral feeding, oxygen therapy, seizure management, and additional nursing interventions

• Monitor the health of students and respond appropriately to medical issues

• Maintain professional communication with families, schools, transportation personnel, and the clinical team

• Assist in ensuring that students travel safely between their homes and school

⛳️ Requirements

• Active registration in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) or the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides (CLHA)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities

• Valid Alberta driver's license and dependable transportation

• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

• Experience in pediatric, school health, home care, or community nursing is considered an asset
