Clinical Informatics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop queries and generate reports to enhance the quality and value of patient care.

• Offer analytical support for clinical processes and outcome measurements.

• Assess metrics related to diseases, clinical procedures, care pathways, and population health.

• Utilize data to narrate stories and address significant inquiries for both providers and patients.

• Create, oversee, and validate extensive data sets.

• Assist Swedish Health Services in achieving its clinical informatics and decision-support objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, information technology, health informatics, public health, or a related field.

• Epic Certification and proficiency in reporting tools required within one year of employment and must be maintained during tenure.

• Three years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, decision support tools, or management of intricate databases and analytics.

• Documented experience in creating, managing, and validating large data sets.

• A master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.

• Three years of recent SQL programming experience preferred, which includes a combination of Snowflake, SQL Server 2012, data warehouse design, and Oracle SQL.

• Experience in reporting data from Epic Clarity and/or Chronicles databases is preferred.

• Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI is preferred.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies, modeling, and hypothesis testing is preferred.
