Clinical Informatics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop queries and generate reports aimed at enhancing the quality and value of care provided to patients.

• Offer analytical support for clinical processes and outcome measurements.

• Evaluate metrics associated with diseases, clinical procedures, care pathways, and population health.

• Construct, oversee, and validate extensive data sets.

• Utilize data to address significant inquiries for both providers and patients.

• Contribute to the clinical informatics objectives of Swedish Health Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, information technology, health informatics, public health, or a related field.

• Epic Certification and competency in reporting tools within one year of employment, to be maintained throughout employment.

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in SQL programming.

• Proficiency in SQL, including a combination of Snowflake, SQL Server 2012, data warehouse design, and Oracle SQL.

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, decision support tools, or management of complex databases and analytics.

• Demonstrated experience in creating, managing, and validating large data sets.

• A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

• Experience with Epic Clarity and/or Chronicles databases is preferred.

• Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI is preferred.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies, modeling, and hypothesis testing is preferred.
