This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer clinical assistance to clients involved in the IHS Electronic Health Records Modernization initiative.
• Foster comprehension, integration, and application of information technology within healthcare environments.
• Advocate for clinical interests in collaborations with clinical, operational, and IT leadership.
• Convert clinical requirements into information system specifications.
• Conduct workflow analysis, oversee project implementation, and provide operational support.
• Act as a subject matter expert for inpatient nursing, ancillary fields, and corporate partnerships.
• Develop and share best practices for integrated technology solutions.
• Recognize high-value opportunities and present solutions to clinical workflow and operational challenges using data and observations.
• Assist in the modernization of the EHR platform to enhance data accessibility, patient experience, and care quality.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• More than 8 years of experience in supporting medium to large IT projects.
• Familiarity with Indian Health Services workflows.
• Extensive understanding of Oracle Health platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Specific knowledge of inpatient nursing, ancillary, and rehabilitation workflows.
• Expertise in clinical decision support tools, workflow automation, and clinical documentation tools.
• Experience in clinical informatics or clinical environments with health IT exposure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software products.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to analyze and synthesize both technical and clinical information.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively engage with nursing teams and leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, if necessary.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
