This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify, assess, and address clinical data quality challenges within Aledade's diverse EHR ecosystem involving multiple vendors. Examine root causes of data discrepancies at the interface, configuration, and source system levels. Generate structured findings accompanied by actionable recommendations for engineering and integration teams.
• Map clinical data elements to standardized coding systems and verify the accuracy of these mappings across various clinical domains. Assist in the development and upkeep of Aledade's terminology mapping capabilities, utilizing both rule-based and AI-assisted methodologies.
• Support quality measure programs by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of clinical data throughout the reporting process. Validate measure logic and code sets in accordance with published specifications. Identify data deficiencies affecting measure performance and collaborate across functions to achieve resolution.
• Act as the clinical subject matter expert for new data sources, initiatives involving AI-powered extraction, and interoperability projects. Offer clinical context to engineering, product, and operations teams concerning data governance, vendor engagement, and process enhancement efforts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Medical/Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare data analysis, or health information management.
• Proficient in querying, analyzing, and validating clinical data (experience with Databricks/Spark SQL is an advantage).
• Strong understanding and experience with standard Health Information Technology (HIT) vocabularies and terminologies.
• Practical experience with one or more ambulatory Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Extensive knowledge of C-CDA/CCD document structure, HL7 standards, and the representation of clinical data in structured exchange formats.
• Familiarity with quality measure specifications (eCQM, MIPS, MCQM, HEDIS, etc.) and how clinical data contributes to measure calculation.
• Proven ability to investigate complex data issues, pinpoint root causes, and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
