Clinical Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Conduct educational in-services across the entire patient monitoring range, customizing instruction to align with customer workflows, clinical settings, and learning requirements.

• Deliver hands-on training in clinical applications within various hospital departments and care environments.

• Evaluate educational needs across nursing units and specialties, adapting instruction as necessary.

• Assist with system installations by identifying customer workflows and specific configuration requirements.

• Offer on-site clinical support during go-live events and final implementation phases.

• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate seamless transitions from installation to active clinical usage.

• Execute follow-up visits and provide ongoing phone support to reinforce education and encourage sustained product adoption.

• Cultivate strong relationships with clinical staff and leadership at client locations.

• Act as a clinical intermediary between clients and Technical Support, Service, and Systems Solutions.

• Deliver on-call clinical support via the technical support line following escalation and documentation protocols after the first year.

• Independently manage time and territory to effectively address customer educational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license from an accredited institution.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; an alternate nursing degree is acceptable with over 5 years of nursing experience.

• 2–3 years of hands-on nursing experience with cardiac monitoring in acute care environments.

• In-depth understanding of advanced cardiac arrhythmias, hemodynamics, Swan-Ganz, and cardiac output monitoring.

• Experience in educating fellow nurses through staff development, preceptorship, or formal training programs is highly preferred.

• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.

• Must be highly independent and self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously in the field.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Technical aptitude to comprehend product specifications and apply them in practical clinical scenarios.

• Must be flexible and adaptable to last-minute schedule modifications.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Willingness to travel approximately 85% by car or air.

• Must reside within 40 miles of a major airport.

• Ability to stand and deliver training sessions lasting 2–5 hours at a time, multiple times daily.

• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods during implementations and on-site support.

• Ability to lift and carry training materials or equipment up to 25 pounds and maneuver carts through clinical settings.
