This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with a Territory Business Leader to introduce Sequel's groundbreaking insulin pump and future offerings.
• Formulate territory plans and strategies alongside the TBL to achieve or surpass territory objectives.
• Implement clinical selling strategies within designated accounts.
• Evaluate referrals for product utilization in individuals with diabetes.
• Provide product education and training for users of Sequel products.
• Highlight the clinical advantages of automated insulin delivery and perform product demonstrations for healthcare professionals.
• Certify healthcare providers to facilitate product training.
• Conduct virtual product training and educational webinars.
• Relay user feedback across departments to address issues and enhance product development.
• Work with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
• Exhibit knowledge of Sequel products, diabetes, and diabetes-care therapies.
• Attend conventions, educational forums, and meetings.
• Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relationship database and submit documentation for product training.
• Sustain relationships with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
• Assist with field sales and clinical training efforts.
• Engage in cross-functional advisory boards.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Lead weekly team, regional, and area meetings as required.
• A valid professional license as an RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist is necessary.
• For the Senior CDS position, a minimum of 4 years of clinical diabetes education experience is required.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned geographical area.
• Proven track record of high performance and exemplary success.
• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
• Capability to address inquiries from patients and healthcare providers in real time.
• Strong skills in data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with diabetes products and therapies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Capability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
• Willingness to commute and spend significant time driving, including potential overnight travel.
• Experience in coordinating and delivering diabetes education; strong background with diabetes technology is preferred.
• CDCES certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in coordinating and conducting diabetes device education within the medical device industry is advantageous.
• Background in field sales training, mentoring new hires, or involvement in advisory boards, marketing, or clinical input committees is beneficial.
• Experience representing an organization at industry conferences or conventions is desirable.
• Demonstrated career advancement into roles with increased responsibility.
• Proven success in sales or collaboration with sales teams.
• Strategic problem-solving capabilities are essential.
