• The main responsibilities of the Clinical Design Physician focus on creating Phase II to Phase IV clinical programs and studies in the neuroscience therapeutic area.
• Collaborate with clinical research staff to design and execute clinical trials.
• Grasp how design components impact the capacity to meet new regulatory expectations.
• Assist in the identification and selection of investigators, in partnership with Clinical Development.
• Engage in the creation of scientific data dissemination and the preparation of final reports and publications related to assets, as well as support initiatives to enhance clinical design science within the industry.
• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree.
• Must be board eligible or certified in Oncology or Hematology, or have completed a comparable level of post-medical school clinical training relevant to the hiring country.
• Physicians trained in the US must have achieved board eligibility or certification.
• Physicians trained outside the US who are not board eligible or certified may be directly hired for employment in the US at the discretion of the Chief Medical Officer.
• At least three (3) years of pharmaceutical industry experience or research experience that provides a solid background relevant to the design of Phase II to Phase IV clinical trials.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neuroscience or a related field is highly preferred.
• Strong comprehension of therapeutic area pathology, pathophysiology, unmet needs, and treatment standards in key regions.
• Solid foundation in statistical science, including Bayesian statistics, as it pertains to study design.
• Capable of effectively communicating with statisticians.
