Clinical Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Plan, oversee, control, and execute data processing and management activities for designated projects.

• Lead assigned data processing and management initiatives by utilizing project management skills and data processing techniques.

• Manage project timelines and coordinate activities for the projects assigned.

• Define validation checks for databases related to specific studies.

• Spearhead the development and maintenance of standard database validation checks.

• Establish and oversee the flow of clinical trial data and quality control (QC) processes.

• Provide training for clinical trial site monitors on data flow and QC procedures.

• Draft clear queries for missing data and data points that do not meet pre-defined range checks.

• Conduct QC procedures on the assigned database throughout the trial and perform additional closure checks at the conclusion of the study.

• Train and supervise Data Entry staff and junior data management personnel on study protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, physical/biological sciences, or chemistry, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical trial data capture and management.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical trial data management concepts, processes, and procedures, as well as relevant issues affecting clinical data management and pharmaceutical clinical trial regulations, industry guidelines, conventions, and standards.

• Demonstrated leadership in clinical data management activities and a strong desire to excel in leading data management projects.
