This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Support licensed clinicians in providing patient care services under their direct supervision.
• Set up treatment rooms and prepare patients for clinical procedures.
• Carry out technical fabrication tasks, including the creation and modification of molds.
• Implement treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as instructed by the supervising clinician.
• Fit and supply soft goods items to patients.
• Make alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as required.
• Independently provide orthotic fitting services.
• Assist with specific patient follow-up care under the direction of the clinician.
• Accurately complete and maintain timely documentation of all patient care delivered.
• Relay patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician.
• Ensure all patient procedures adhere to clinical protocols and standards.
• Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking of prosthetic and orthotic materials.
• Communicate with and coordinate vendors to procure necessary materials and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Comply with safety regulations, Medicare and governmental requirements, blood-borne pathogen standards, and OSHA regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient-facing role is needed.
• Preference for candidates with backgrounds in allied health professions, such as PTA, OTA, or Athletic Trainer.
• Must possess, or be qualified to obtain, a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that complies with Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Willingness to confirm all clinical activities with certified clinical personnel.
• Capability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Hand skills necessary to safely and effectively use laboratory tools.
• Understanding of biomechanical principles.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for reporting information to patients and staff.
• Effective organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize and plan to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
• Demonstrate integrity in all actions and at all times.
• Keep the patient at the forefront of all activities.
• Promote open collaboration and constructive dialogue.

• $20.00 - $24.00/hour base pay.
