This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Delivers clinical training to diverse groups including Sales Representatives, Technical Teams, Merit personnel, Cath lab and Radiology staff, as well as physicians on all Merit products.
• Responds to clinical inquiries from doctors, technicians, sales representatives, and others.
• Collaborates with Sales Representatives in the field or directly with customers to conduct evaluations and consultations or gather complaint information.
• Follows up on prior product evaluations and conversions or complaints that necessitate further information.
• Establishes relationships and fosters trust among lab personnel, physicians, Sales Representatives, and customers.
• May document clinical details pertaining to customer complaints.
• May participate in meetings to assess which events/incidents need to be reported to regulatory authorities.
• Acts as a liaison between the lab/customers and Sales Representatives.
• May carry out assessment testing to evaluate the skill levels and capabilities of individuals being trained, and design training curriculums and programs to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Provides ongoing staff training and clinical feedback to address customer-related issues.
• Operates in the field to assist and train clinicians on the utilization of Merit products and to troubleshoot product-related issues on-site.
• May support the introduction of new products, including training Sales Representatives on their features and advantages.
• Offers insights on emerging technologies, procedures, and shifts within the medical device industry.
• May create product training and procedural documentation.
• May develop programs for labs to acquire CEU credits, in collaboration with an independent external accreditation firm.
• Works alongside the T.I.A. Department to enhance existing products and facilitate the development of new ones.
• May present at Regional and National meetings concerning new products, procedures, and customer complaint protocols.
• Performs additional related duties and tasks as necessary.
• Education and/or business experience equivalent to a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
• At least five years of practical medical experience.
• Education and clinical experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse or Certified Cardiovascular or Radiology Technician preferred.
• Experience in medical product sales and sales training is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and the capability to analyze feedback in a training context to develop strategies that enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of training and development methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend complex issues.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capability to coordinate extensive programs.
• Proven computer skills, ideally with spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software applications.
• Multiple shifts and hours available: Days, Swing (Evening), and Nights.
