This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Exhibit excellent and effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and referral sources.
• Provide detailed programming information in a supportive manner to assist clients in accessing care.
• Conduct virtual biopsychosocial assessments for a diverse age range, including children, teens, young adults, and adults facing various mental health issues.
• Assess suitability for the virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care.
• Formulate provisional mental health diagnoses based on DSM-V criteria.
• Record client information in compliance with regulatory standards using electronic medical records.
• Allocate treatment team members and group schedules, while notifying staff about new admissions.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams to facilitate the intake process.
• Partner with referral sources such as hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers during the admission process.
• Preferred experience working with a broad range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
• Preferred experience in completing behavioral health assessments and admissions.
• Required independent licensure in a mental health discipline.
• While an independent license is preferred, we are open to collaborating with associate-level clinicians who are motivated to develop their skills and work towards full licensure.
