Clinical Adjunct Instructor of Nursing – Pool

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee, manage, and assess student learning during practical experiences at affiliated healthcare facilities.

• Facilitate the advancement of students’ nursing competencies, professional standards, and clinical reasoning abilities.

• Support the students’ merger of theoretical knowledge and practical application, tailored to course objectives, learning activities, and the learner's level.

• Regularly observe and evaluate student performance, delivering constructive verbal and written feedback.

• Maintain precise records of student performance and clinical observations.

• Collaborate with course instructors regarding student learning activities, progress, and any concerns.

• Cultivate a positive learning atmosphere by establishing strong professional relationships with staff at the healthcare facilities.

• Act as a role model, endorsing professionalism, critical thinking, and ethical standards in nursing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.

• A Master of Science in Nursing is preferred.

• At least two years of clinical experience in pertinent nursing specialties within the past five years; prior experience in teaching or clinical supervision is preferred.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
