This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• The Client Support Specialist works alongside both internal and external clients in the K-12 sector and municipalities to manage billing, bill reconciliation, address discrepancy reports, and produce payroll reports.
• They assist with payroll imports while also fostering client relationships and engaging with the company's benefits and CRM systems.
• This role supports the sales team by offering product options related to core and voluntary benefits.
• Additional responsibilities include aiding sales and marketing with enrollments, creating spreadsheets and marketing materials, and drafting memorandums, emails, and other communications in support of the regional sales manager and the Arizona sales team.
• Occasionally, the specialist may be tasked with sourcing, developing, soft selling, promoting, marketing, and administering insurance products and administrative services of FFGA.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in customer service.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
• Candidates must possess a Group One Life and Health License or be able to secure one within 90 days.
• Strong customer service abilities coupled with a proven history of managing sensitive client information (HIPAA, PHI & PI).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in delivering presentations in a professional setting.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug services, and retirement plans).
• Familiarity with general benefit plan terminology is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of benefits within the K-12 market is strongly preferred.
• Key skills include time management, organizational abilities, a strong sense of urgency, and exceptional interpersonal skills; candidates should be diplomatic and tactful.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain security clearances and successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
