This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take proactive measures to manage aging accounts utilizing Account Summary aging tools and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Oversee client collections and placements, identify any discrepancies, and report these to management and IT.
• Keep precise Wiki documentation for assigned clients and review procedures on a quarterly basis.
• Supervise and resolve open and pending incidents and tickets.
• Complete and review monthly reconciliations to guarantee inventory accuracy.
• Update CMR tickets with meeting notes, reports, and any changes to client processes.
• Maintain a contingency plan to fulfill client service level expectations.
• Ensure adherence to data collection, reporting, and auditing activities.
• Deliver client-specific reports within set timelines.
• Manage customer service inquiries and client requests through prompt responses, resolutions, and follow-ups.
• Provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
• Meet deadlines while effectively managing interruptions and changing priorities.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and protect patient information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• GED/High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Over 2 years of experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• More than 3 years of clerical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related environment or industry.
• Familiarity with customer service best practices.
• Proficient in 10-key touch typing.
• Knowledge of client requirements and guidelines.
• Understanding of the billing and recovery cycle.
• Awareness of legal regulations pertaining to billing, collections, and HIPAA.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate fluently in and understand English.
• Capability to multitask, manage time effectively, monitor performance, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work at a stationary workstation for 8 hours.
• Proficient use of a desktop computer or laptop, including mouse and keyboard.
• Ability to communicate clearly over a telephone system.
• 100% remote work.
