This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as the main point of contact for Pierce County clients and community members through email, text, and phone communications.
• Collaborate effectively with the Regional Clinic Manager and the Pet Services administration team to ensure consistent scheduling and client communication.
• Guarantee that scheduling and client relations are efficient, fair, and thoroughly documented.
• Coordinate and arrange client appointments for spay/neuter and vaccine clinics.
• Foster and uphold positive relationships with clients, voucher partners, volume partners, and community organizations.
• Engage with clients compassionately and fairly to build trust and rapport.
• Maintain precise client records, appointment details, and program documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Work alongside internal teams to facilitate smooth service delivery and communication across various programs.
• Ensure adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Assist with program outreach, client engagement initiatives, and community education efforts.
• Support special projects and undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
• A demonstrated passion for animal welfare and a commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, shelter overcrowding, animal suffering, and unnecessary euthanasia.
• A dedication to addressing animal cruelty and barriers to veterinary care.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A collaborative and communicative team player.
• Ability to be diplomatic, compassionate, and straightforward, particularly in challenging situations.
• Strong de-escalation skills are advantageous.
• A knack for working empathetically with marginalized populations and a commitment to tackling racial and economic injustice.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• High confidence in learning new software applications.
• Previous experience with ClinicHQ or similar databases is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to self-initiate, prioritize tasks effectively, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional local travel and weekend/evening coverage.
• Capability to perform the specified physical activities, including sitting, keyboarding, standing/walking, grasping, fine manipulation, and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 1–10 lbs.
