This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conducting research and providing support for intricate utility damage claims.
• Managing inquiries related to regulations and compliance investigations.
• Auditing damage investigations and executing root cause analyses.
• Addressing inquiries related to regulatory compliance.
• Creating robust documentation to support claims.
• Collaborating with operations teams, customers, regulatory bodies, utility owners, contractors, and industry organizations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Legal Studies, Safety, Utility Operations, or a similar field; relevant industry experience may be accepted as a substitute.
• Proven experience in conducting intricate investigations and preparing robust documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of utility locating practices, damage prevention principles, and one-call/811 regulations.
• Experience in engaging with customers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and insurance representatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
