This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Complete designated tasks in DMS3 within a 2-business-day timeframe, which includes follow-ups on medical requests, provincial authorizations, CPPD/QPPD applications, Pre-X Forms, and WCB file requests.
• Coordinate with the Finance department for payments related to police report requests, provincial inquiries, and specific medical requests.
• Handle all inquiries from the Disability and Life & Living department in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide clients with accurate, plan-specific information.
• Develop solutions to administrative challenges by investigating issues, conducting research, and asking pertinent questions.
• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the assigned Case Manager team.
• Manage all correspondence received for the DMI Claims team.
• Accurately upload and process medical invoices in a timely manner.
• Address CSR WOP inquiries within 2 business days and respond to all other inquiries within 1 business day.
• Assist in testing system updates and identifying discrepancies within the system.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree in Health Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative role within health, insurance, or disability sectors; recent graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• A background in a medical profession (such as Occupational Therapy, Kinesiology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, etc.) is highly valued.
• Strong customer service skills with a client-focused approach.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer systems and a quick aptitude for learning new software.
• A minimum of 3 weeks of vacation.
